2009

HTVA incorporated (Dec 5) to serve the religious, cultural, and educational needs of Northern Virginia's Hindu community.

2010

Recognized by IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (June).

2016

Acquired 2.5 acres at 44805 Acacia Lane, Sterling, VA. Permits secured, but covenant issues delayed daily worship activities on-site.

2016–2025

Operated from a 6,000 sq. ft. leased space at 22510 South Sterling Blvd. Silanyasam and Vigraha Prathishta held in 2018.

2020–2023

Pandemic halted construction. Worship continued with support from priests and volunteers.

2024

Revitalized by volunteers and donors with renewed goals to resume construction.

Current

Now at 1319 Shepard Dr, Suite F. Construction underway at permanent site: 44805 Acacia Lane, Sterling, VA.
